The problem with being an illustrator is dealing with the models. A tempestuous lot. In this case, the young man featured in the illustration was, in fact, my 8 year old daughter Chloe. She was excited to be a subject of this piece, until she found out I had made her a boy. Now, she asks what she will be before she consents to let me take her picture. At least she hasn't asked for money...yet.
